GCC chief, Oman Commerce Min. discuss closer Gulf trade

RIYADH, April 5 (KUNA) -- GCC Secretary-General Jassim Al-Budaiwi discussed, Wednesday, with the Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion Qais Al-Yousef, how to enhance joint Gulf action under the directives of the GCC leaders.

They discussed the efforts made by the General Secretariat and Oman (the Presidency State) regarding working on completing projects for drafting commercial laws and regulations between the GCC countries according to the approved timetable, in line with the decision of the International Cooperation Committee at its 63 meeting held in October 2022, said a GCC statement.

The two sides also reviewed several issues of commercial, investment and industrial concern, and ways to improve integrated joint work, in a way that contributes to advancing the growth of Gulf economy, noted the statement. (end) mdm.seo.
