Al-Ahli Bank makes deal worth USD 600 mln

KUWAIT, June 10 (KUNA) -- Al-Ahli Bank of Kuwait has worked out facilities deal worth USD 600 million valid for 37 months through its branch at Dubai Financial International Center.

The bank said in a statement on Saturday that the facilities aimed at backing up liquidity for Al-Ahli Bank group, future plans for it is valid for 37 months, with prospected extension by 12 additional months.
The bank has concluded a promotion Asian tour, including meetings with leading bankers in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Taipei.
The deal has proven quite lucrative in the Asian markets, where it earned a rise in the preliminary subscription sum, amounting to USD 500 million, and the funding was inked by 11 Asian lenders. (end) fnk.rk.
